Drawer Knobs

When I was buying the furniture for Eliza's room I wanted to get crystal knobs for her dresser, but worried that it would be too girly if I had a boy (and I was convinced I was having a boy). So I left the stock standard Ikea knobs on the dresser and forgot all about it.

Then whilst killing some time on ebay, I found some crystal knobs for less than $3 each. Bargain.

Aren't they pretty?

House Numbers

I love house plate signs, they just seem elite in my mind. In the words of Homer J Simpson "soon we will be spelling everything with letters".

So whilst paying for something on ebay (Oobi Ruffle Bloomers) I spotted this

Steelcut Creations have heaps of them. Wonder if I could work it into our front veranda update? Would make the cover of the meter box look more interesting.

Thankful 7: Etsy

For a number of years I have been shopping on ebay. In the last two years I lost interest, as nothing really took my fancy, and it just seemed like more and more people were selling goods they got during sales to make an extra buck (not that there is anything wrong with that). It wasn't like the old days where things were cheap as people we having an online garage sale.

Then I discovered Etsy. You never know what you will find. Craft supplies, clothes, toys, homewares. It's like a new and better version of ebay. One that I am thankful for.

Unfortunately my credit card and husband are not!

Wellies

For a while now I have been wanting a pair of Wellies. Living in the south, means I often spend the winter months in the mud.

So on an adventure to the hardware store husband found me a pair. A boring army green pair. They were terrible. I refused to buy them. He argued that they were only for working outside. I argued that they were ugly.

I won.

So today I finally got around to looking on ebay. And I found them. The perfect wellies from Sarah J Home Decor

Aren't they beautiful! Pin It
