actually, for my view pleasure.

I have always been one of those people who hates tv's in the bedroom. I dont know why, as I had one in my room as a teenager (to save my parents from having to watch Neighbours and Home & Away (oh the shame!)). Just, when Brian and I moved in together, I said no tv for the bedroom.

Until now. Husband wanted to watch some James Bond movie, which I had zero interest in, especially considering I have movies from iTunes to watch. So, I am in in bed, trying to browse the net on my laptop, as well as watching movies.

Now to convince the husband to buy a tv, and another Apple TV (why can you not network these things dammit!). And whilst I am at it, better convince him to hang it too. And put in a new powerpoint for me.

Hmm, I may need to bribe him with all these requests

And it isnt really working for me. So I am considering a tv for the bedroom. But on certain conditions. It must not look like a tv. Which, incredibly, I saw a post about on The Happy Home Blog, who directed me to the A Penny Saved Blog about how to disguise a wall mounted tv!

Love/Hate

Last night I tweeted (sorry, i would give you a link to my Twitter, but the work place doesnt allow Twitter, but they allow millions of coffee and smoke breaks *shakes fists*) about what I love and hate about the same item.



What I love about my mac: the duckheads - makes it so much easier to move power between the office and the lounge room.



What I hate about my mac: the USB ports being next to each other. It makes it impossible to use bigger devices, such as my card reader. I much prefer it on my Macbook Pro where they are on opposite sides.



Now, a friend asked me what a duckhead is. I couldnt explain it in 140 characters, so Gem, this is for you


The little plug with no cord is the duckhead. The thing I like most about it is that I have the little plug left in the office power point, and the cord behind the couch. When I want to move power source i just unconnect the charger (the white box) and attach it to the other device. I dont have to get behind the couch to find the cord.
Also, if I go overseas, i just buy that countries duck head. How easy. No converters for me :D What makes it even more awesome, it is the same duckhead for my iPod, iPhone and Macbook Pro. So I have these little duckheads all over the house. extra awesome! Pin It

Things I love

Nothing interesting is happening on the home front, other than I might finally be getting better, and that I have new Tupperware.

So this post is about the things I love right now

First off, the  Tupperware Squeeze It Icing Ball

Am yet to use it on a cake, but it looks so easy to use!

Duck Magic Scrubs for Cleaning the bathroom. Sorry to those who do the whole vinegar and bicard thing, but I really can't make it work for us, Brian is too much of a fan of spreading soap scum!

After 4 weeks, we finally have our tv back from the repair place, which means I have a renewed love for our Apple TV

We love it so much we got rid of our DVD player as it hadnt been used in the 12 months we have had our Apple TV.

Next is my  Canon 450D

I brought my camera a year ago, and never really got around to learning how to use it properly. For months now I have been shooting in Auto (oh the shame). This week I have made myself sit down and learn how to shoot in manual. And by golly I think I might have finally learnt something. I do however now have 6 million photos of my cat ;)

And finally, I love our wood heater that my husband lights for me each night when we get home
