It's has been very lonely in our house last week, and will continue for the next four weeks, as the husband is working away from home during the week. As much as I love coming home to a clean house, and cooking what I want for dinner, I do miss coming home to a roaring fire, and having someone to cuddle with on the couch of a night.
Thank goodness for iChat and mobile phones!

I'm sure it will be a long 4 weeks but the technology these days is so amazing. We skype my husbands parents who live overseas and it is so great for the kids to see them regularly as well as speak to them. I hope you have a hot water bottle, some friends who live nearby and a teddy bear or pet to keep you company. Thanks for joining in this week. Lou.

ReplyDeleteWe use iChat quite a bit here, it means we can still share things. Plus we make 4 phone calls to each other daily!
The first week wasn't too bad, so lets hope time flys for the next 4!
