Glass Jars

Does anyone know where to go jars like these from Pottery Barn?

I would prefer them without the monograming, as I am thinking of a display on the bath landing, one with decorative soaps, and assorted goodies.

  1. April, I know Oswald Sealy had some a while back. They're in Johnson St Fitzroy, but not sure if they have any now or not.

Give them a call and ask. I know they weren't expensive. Apart from there, I'd suggest giving the Bed Bath and Table outlets a call....I'll keep my eyes open for any.
By the way, there are websites in the USA that allow you to order from stores there that don't normally post to Australia. They set up a US address for you so you can order just about anything your heart desires.

  2. I'm looking for the exact same thing and I've had no luck! There looks like a great place in the US called The Jar Store but I don't know if they ship to Aus - alas!

  3. Oh nice one. I am going to the city next weekend, so I might check them out.

Do you happen to know the name of the site in the US? I remember seeing a website that did a similar thing, that had a pink website, but I can't remember the name of it. They offered paypal as a payment option though.

  4. April it's www.myus.com You can find others, just google USA mail forwarding and it'll throw up a lot of sites, all with various ways to pay.

Also, if you're heading to the city and check out Oswald Sealy in Johnston St. Head around the corner into George St to have a look at Jimmy Buttons. If you're a sewer it'll blow your mind! Walls and walls of trims and buttons, much cheaper than the big fabric stores.

  5. April, trust me, you will not be disappointed in Jimmy Buttons...Oswald Sealy, well that depends on what stock they have of course, so it might be a wasted trip, you just never know because they go through heaps of stock and are always getting new stuff in...but JB's. Oh. My. God! They are only open between 10am and 2pm on a Saturday though.

  6. There are a few stores here that sell them! I *think* Maxwell Williams sell the ones like in the second pic. I saw one exactly like it in a shop and it was with the Maxwell Williams items.
I have 3 in my bathroom...another thing I have to take pic of for you :-P and I have bath bombs and soaps in them.
