Decorate

With the renovations in full swing (more on this later this weekend), its time I start thinking about decorating my bedroom. After living with that ugly blue carpet, I am in for a fresh overhaul.

The room will be painted Dulux Hogs Bristle Half, with the trim in Hogs Bristle Quarter

And I am thinking of the middle brown in Dulux Pearluster for a feature wall. It looks a lot better in real life

The carpet we are looking at.

Our built in robes, but with these doors

The doona cover that I am thinking of from Cottonbox

And the lamps I am thinking about from OzDesign

For curtains, I am leaning towards heavy drapes in the same damask fabric we have in the lounge room, with timber venetians underneath. Being on a busy-ish street, and hating that lace stuff, I want something to give privacy, so venetians it is. Pin It

  1. I have been craving (probably not the right word) built in wardrobe doors since forever!

My cousins have them and they look sooooo good.

That lamp is beautiful too. My mum has been looking for one for a while.

Do you know how much it is?

  2. Hey Chantelle.

I totally understand craving build in wardrobe doors, i am willing to kill for just a robe currenty :)

The lamp is from OzDesign, and is $180. Apparently freedom have similar ones too. And Beacon Lighting have them on sale where you get the second one half price, though I am not too sure on the origional price as it isnt listed online.
