The destruction begins

Now, it has to be said, I am not the type of person to get in there and swing a hammer. Knowing my luck I would knock myself out cold. I am the person who carts barrow loads of crap to the trailer. The one who organises lunch for the people we sucked in to help us. The one who does the pretty work, like designs the layout, the colours, and the furnishings.

However, this weekend, i was the 'man-hands' of the house. Not by choice I might add, but I got in there with my crowbar, hammer and nail puller-outter. Brian had brought a motorbike the previous day, and well, it's not hard to guess who was more important.

But this is what I achieved:

No more daggy blue carpet

No more odd timber floor board things on the walls

Now for the odd wall in the house

It took me a long time to remove all of those boards!

Now we just need to buy some timber, and we are set to install the new window and frame up the robes on the long weekend. Bring on the long weekend!!!
